Woman of the Year

Jeannie Dinero-Trujillo

After teaching at other Studios Jeannie open Jeannie's Academy of Dance in 1981, a career that she said has been completely edifying. Not only do students learn to dance but they learn life skills among other things as well. The studio keeps her very busy especially at recital, performance and competition times but she said it is always important to have family time as well. She has three sons and 11 grandchildren so there is always some family activity happening. In addition to keeping busy with the studio and her family she is active in the community as well and is excited to represent the business women's Network as woman of the year. She said "I truly enjoy networking, lifting up and supporting other business women. I like aligning myself with this group that strives to empower and educate women and smart men. Thank you for honoring me with such a wonderful opportunity."
